During the 2024 calendar year, For ian Foundation was proud to award a grant, in the amount of $40,000 to Dr. Arthur Tischler’s Labs at Tufts Medicine. Dr. Tischler and his colleagues are continuing their efforts to establish an SDH deficient GIST Cell Line.

As per charter of our organization, Dr. Tischler’s proposal and application were reviewed and vetted by a number of peers in the pertinent scientific areas. The recommendation was to fund Dr. Tischler’s work.
